Dell Inspiron 8200
Windows XP Pro
Office 2003
My hard drive recently died and I am reinstalling
everything on a new drive. This is a clean install of
Office 2003.
Repeatedly starting Outlook caused a new local folder to
be created in the navigation pane. There are currently
eight duplicate local folders. I cannot delete them:
either the "Close local folder" option is greyed out or,
when it is not greyed, I get the message "object cannot be
found."
Also, Favorite Folders does not save any of my selections
after the program is closed and then reopened. All
folders dragged from local folders disappear.
What I have done so far:
--Detect and repair twice
--A second install over the first install
--Removed Office 2003 and did an install
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you...
