Navigation Pane won't expand

Hi I minimized (hot hidden) the navigation pane to very skinny and now it
will not expand. I have looked everythwere, tried F11, etc and it will not
expand. When I float my cursor over the right edge, I never get the arrow to
expand it...

HELP!

Try clicking on Office button, Current Database, and scroll down to Navigation.
See if the 'Display Navigation Pane' is checked.

Yes it is checked. It seems the problem is the vertical bar that you would
drag to expand or contract the width of the pane dissapears...

F11 does not work, and as this vertical bar is not there you cannot drag it
to make it wider. VERRRY strange... we finally got it to come back by hiding
the search box, and then displaying it again, and then we could make it
wider.
