Navigation structure not copying

FrontPage Office 2003

When updating a local disc based web from a remote SharePoint Service web,
or vice versa, I find that sometimes, changes in the navigation structure
don't get updated. I have tried to recalculate hyperlinks on either side,
and I also have made deliberate changes to the source navigation in the hope
that I might "re-set" some index, but none of this helps.

Somewhere, there must be a file, or files, that contain(s) the navigation
structure info. Can I just copy that file? And if so, what is the file's
name?

Thanks,

Clem.

No you can not and should not copy the nav control file
- get the FP Cleaner from http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
- run it to delete web cache files before you open FP and the redo the steps you identified
(recalculate hyperlinks after making changes to the source navigation)
