navigation view in frontpage

when I add a hyperlink to a page and save it and go to the hyperlink view I
can see the Page that the hyperlink is attached to in the hyperlink view. I
would think that the navigation view should also be automatically updated
showing the linked page below or next to the page with the hyperlink in it.

what is the point of the navigation view if nothing is really showing what
pages are hyperlinked to what pages here. I don't get the usefulness of this
view???

You have to create the navigation view by adding page to it manually. See FP Help.

don't really get the real usefullness of this view if need to manually add
pages here even if already exist in the website- what am I missing???
