I have created a database for someone else in our office
to use. When they attempt to open the database, they get
the error "you do not have the permissions to use this
object...." PLEASE HELP! URGENT!

It sounds like perhaps one of the two of you is running Access
security. Do you (or the other person) have to type in a username and
password when opening a database?

There are two options here. You can open up their database and give
the Admin user all rights (this is probably fine if it's a local
database with only one user, and non-confidential data), or you have
to give them a copy of your workgroup file, and have them join that
workgroup.

That should do it!
