Need a macro that will remove extra line breaks

Hi all,

I am looking for a macro that will remove the extra line
breaks in a document I converted from a PDF format to a
MSWord format. Any one know how to do that or if there
is a better way?

Hi Gary

You probably don't need a macro: a search-and-replace will get rid of extra line breaks.

Hi,

Line breaks can be added to a search and replace
operation. When the search and replace dialog box is up,
select the "special" button and select the paragraph
mark. I often search for two or more paragraph marks and
replace them either with nothing or a single paragraph
mark.
