Hi,
In a worksheet I need a formula, if ever possible, that will change the
color of the font, if the presented value becone negative:
E.g: Lets say that column C holds a formula like this =sum(A15-B15) If B15
holds a value, exceeding the value in A15, the sum becomes negative. So I
would like to add to the formula above, so when sum<0 then the value turns
red, for example. Is it possible to generate such a formula?
In advance thank you very much.

This should be possible. Check out Format » Conditional Formatting..., I
think this is what your after. Change "Cell Value Is" to "Formula Is" and go
from there. Once you've worked out your formula change the format to a
different cell colour.

Thanks Peter.
I'll try to look up something in Excel related to "Conditional formatting" -
if you found the example, please paste it into a reply to me. I'm no eagle
when it comes to Excel formulas )

You don't need a formula or conditional formatting. Just format the number
to display in the color you want when the result is negative.

Thanks Bob.
Very simple indeed. I choose 0 decimals and woops it works!
All the best
