Need automated import of tab delimited sequential files

I have an SQL dbase which automatically generates tab delimited .txt files
and places them in the same directory every time. The files are named like
the following "Orders20090619-053725-125.txt" I have an Access dbase which I
use to massage order and inventory data, create reports, etc. Currently I
can import those files manually, but I would prefer to have Access
automatically bring them in whenever a new file appears or at least upon re-
opening the database. Is there a way to automate all of this?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Did anyone ever give you some ideas? I have the same sort of question--I have
an Excel file that's always placed in the same directory... I'd like to
automatically import it into an Access 2003 database.

Hope to hear back... or at least some good advice on the import issue...
Thanks

Negative. I did ask for some quotes from some programmers and they were
saying $1200. Another company suggested I post the request on craigslist and
hire someone T&M... Would love to learn how to do it myself though.

Also - your file - is it the same file name every time? If so, I know how to
handle those.
