Need basic instructions for watermarks

I would like to use a photograph as a watermark behind my text for a
powerpoint presentation. Not sure where to look for instructions in
Word 2007. Can someone help me?

If this is for PowerPoint, then shouldn't you be asking about PPT in a PPT
NG?

But those instructions are still for Word. They will work for all versions
of Word, but in Word 2002 and above, it is much easier: Format | Background
| Printed Watermark.
