Not sure how much detail you're looking for, but it goes something like this:
We are a retail sporting goods store that often needs to order special
specific product for our customers and would like to keep track of it from
beginning of the process to the end. We would place the order for the
customer from one of a number of vendors, once the product is receievd into
the store, we would contact the customer via telephone or e-mail and advise
them that the product had arrived.
Rough fields
1) customers complete contact data including e-mail address
2) record current date
3)Record specific data of the product they are ordering...style, colour,
size, SKU, vendor, price, expected delivery date, actual delievry date,
purchase order number, comments
4) Record action we took on this file: Customer contact 1st try, 2nd try,
3rd try and how they were contacted,
