After going through the standard method of inactivating
resources, I have tried to use "Merge User Accounts" to
eliminate the inactive entries. That has worked for over
100 of the resources; but for 3 I receive the message:
Microsoft Project Server can not merge an
enterprise resource account into another
account.
Now, all of the 100 plus resources being inactivated and
merged were originally imported from Proj Pro 2002
resource pools. Further, when looking at the resource's
information under Modify User, I find no significant
difference in their Descriptions / Groups / Categories /
Permissions ... certainly nothing that would indicate a
reason for the above error.
So, my question is: What keys this error; and what does
it explicitly mean?
Thanks ... Earl
