Hello,
I need some direction. I'm a production manager for a
manufacturing plant and I also take care of a lot of the
technology here. Because there's so much "tech" out
there, I need some direction. What I want to do is simply
enter data from my plant floor into a central access
database. Basically I might have 20 computers throughout
the plant that need to enter records of repair and recut
data into one central database. I'm not sure whether to
look into data access pages, or sharepoint, or sql, or
what. I do want to keep it simple. I'd like to be able
to use a web browser to enter validated data (from lists)
so I don't have to purchase access for every computer out
there. Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated.
