Need dual language spell/grammer check....

I have office xp in English. I need Word to autodetect
and show spelling or grammar errors, in both English and
Dutch. If it´s relevant, I have a ´language bar´
displaying English and Dutch with the Dutch option
checked. Word appears to function normally if I type in
Eng. but it ignores everything I type in Dutch. Help
please!

Do you have the Dutch proofing tools installed? It's a separate install and
you need to purchase them from Microsoft. Here's some information for the
Office XP proofing tools:

Select the text that is in Dutch. Select Tools-Language-
Set Language. (This is the Word 2000 command so I'm not
sure if it is identical in XP.) Tag the highlighted
language as Dutch. Then, if you have the Dutch dictionary,
you can run spell check once and Word will switch between
the dictionaries when it comes across text that is flagged
as a different language. Right now I have a document that
combines French and English and it works perfectly.
