Need font strikethrough in PPT, line draw doesn't stay with edits

I know it is "by design" that PowerPoint doesn't have a strikethrough option
for text. I know the workaround . . . BUT when you edit text that has a
drawing line through it which moves the text up or down, the line doesn't
stay with the text. That requires lots of maintenance (time). Is there
something in the work to fix this or something like a "strikethrough font"
available anywhere?

jeeter,
You have posted to a newsgroup that deals with Microsoft Project
Development. Although I understand Microsoft does monitor these
newsgroups for user suggestions, I suggest you post to one of the
newsgroups that deals with MS PowerPoint.
