Need Formula Fix-It Help

For some strange reason when I type in formulas and paste them into
another row, they keep the old value rather and updating for their new
position. Likewise, when I change a value which is part of a formula,
the formula answer does not change to reflect the new data. I have been
using Excel for years and can't figure out what is going on!

Try Preferences/Calculation, and clicking the Automatic button.
