Want to create 3 labels each of same number, then incrementally increase the
numbers by 1 for another 3 labels. Want to build this in Word '07, but can't
locate the right formula to do this. Found the formula for SUM(ABOVE)+1, and
it works for the second row of 3 labels across. But when I put that formula
on the third row, it adds up all the previous rows and adds 1 to that total -
which makes the numbers incorrect, of course. Can anyone help me get the
correct formula in here?
I would like to be able to quickly paste the formula into each cell, as I
need several hundred sets of 3 labels, so doing this one cell and having to
click on the formula button and then type in the formula, one cell at a time,
is a real PITA. Not sure how to go about doing this. Prefer to use Word,
but if someone can help me use a different MS product that I own and get the
labels to print correctly, I'm open to other methods. I have used Excel in
the past, and worked with their formulas there - which are really good, but
not sure the labels would be uniform in Excel. Labels for MS Word - formulas
in Excel....not sure if they are very interchangeable....but I haven't got a
lot of experience in 2007 yet. My experience is based on how the programs
worked 10-15 yrs ago.
