Need Global IME Japanese for computer w/ Office 2003 + Windows XP

I tried both Global IME d/l offered for Office XP & for Office 2000/ME/etc
but both won't install on my computer. I need the software ASAP to do an
assignment for Japanese class. I already adjusted the language settings in XP
through the control panel & in Office 2003 through Tools:Language Settings.
And I still can't type up my assignment in Japanese characters. Help please!

There isn't an Office Global IME for Office 2003. It relies
on the Windows XP language support. You may want to also
post this and check previous messages in the Word International
Features newsgroup (link below)
