Running XP professional SP2
Running MS Office 2003 Outlook SP2
For some reason that I could not find out, I started getting the above
message.
The event viewer says:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp
4542840f, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, stamp 00000000,
debug? 0, fault address 0xc5fdde16.
I have been struggle with the problem for days.
- Have created a new user profile and imported the pst to it.: same problem.
- Have deleted stored messages by 90%: same problem
- I have made sure that I do not have McAfee SpamKiller.: same problem
- I have used the /Cleanreminders switch with the Outlook.exe : same problem
To my surprise, I have even upgraded to MS Office Oultook 2007: same
problem.
As long as I do not attempt to retrieve messages Outlook does not crash.
Have noticed that clicking "RSS Feed" folder or Tools>Trust Center..
also causes crash.
I have no Exchange server. All accounts (8) are POP3.
I have about 100 items in Contacts.
The size of the .PST is about half a Gig.
