Hi ;
I could use a tip here. I need to convert a Excel
spreadsheet, single page, 10 fields, approx 700 records
into a MS Access standalone database... as if I had typed
it in manually from scratch. This is first step of making
a full blown inventory DB w/ maintenance records, updates,
etc of company computers, instead of the simple chart it
is now.
I must be missing something, since my attempts continue to
bring it in as a linked table, not what is needed. I have
attempted to convert to a CSV, a TAB delimited, A DB file,
etc. Access will read it, but continues to treat it as a
linked table, apparently back to the original.
We are using Access 2000, Excel 2000.
Does anyone see something I am missing?
Thanks...
