Need help trying to create a new record based on another records data (cloning ?)

Hi all,

I need some help with a database we have. The table has about 70 or so
fields and I want the user to be able to clone a copy and enter a new
Primary key for it. The primary key on the table is a Text Field.

What I'd like to do is have the user click a button, be prompted for a new
application number and have it create the record.

Any ideas ?
