One thing I've noticed is that shadows generally work -- but they become
the
old-style, hard-edged shadows instead of the nice new soft shadows PPT
2007
uses. I think the thinking was that a simple shadow shouldn't render your
text ineditable when the file is opened in 2003.
Other text effects -- like reflections, glows, bevels, etc. -- will
indeed
make the text ineditable, though. Not sure about outlined text. Hm...I
might
have to try that one specifically.

I have PowerPoint 2007 and my client has PowerPoint 2003. She has
downloaded
the patch for compatibility, but when I send her a PowerPoint even
saved
as a
2003 the titles on her slides are pictures while they are text on my
end.
How do we fix this. She can't make edits unless I make them for her.
