Need help w/Excel formulas

Help....I have a nightmare company pricing spreadsheet that I need to
increase currency cells by 3% and another by 6%. It's in various sections
with different columns all over the place......some cells merged...some not.
Formulas are not registering ......coming up ### values, etc.
Maybe an IF formula will work but don't know much about them??????
I can send you the spreadsheet to look at if you'd like to help me.

It's hard to tell from that description, but if you want the resulting
"currency cells" to be values rather than formulae, one way:

Enter 1.03 in a blank cell. Copy the cell. Select the cels to be
increased by 3%. Choose Edit/Paste Special, selecting the Values and
Multiply radio buttons. Click OK.

Similarly, use 1.06 with the values to be increased by 6%.

t sounds like you inherited this mess, but FWIW, merged cells are the
devil's spawn and should not be used by anyone - they cause many more
problems (as here, copy/pasting, or foIrmatting, etc), than they're
worth. Friends don't let friends merge cells.
