Need Help with a formula

Need Excel formula to merge one list of phone numbers with another...like I
have a voter listing and a list of voters in 2006 and I want to create a
column that indicates whether each voter...voted in 2006?

Paste all who voted in 2006 in column A starting at row 2
Paste all registered voters in column B starting at row 2
Enter this formula in cell C2:
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(B2,$A$2:$A$100,0)),"Voted","Not Voted")
Copy down column

Here is another way
=IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH(B6,A:A,0)),"","Not ")&"Voted"
