Need Help With An Error Message

Application Specs: Access 2002

I have a database that I am trying to edit a field in a
table. When trying to save the changes I receive the
following error message: "you cannot make changes to the
design of the database at this replica".

Can someone help me with this? I'm not sure what this
means and what I will need to do to resolve this issue.
I have tried to repair the database, but no solution.

Your assistance would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Clark Gonzales

This should be the master database.

Are you using replication?

It sounds like you tried to modify the Table Design of a replica.

You need to modify the design in the master, no the replicas.

You might have mixed them up somehow. I have been using replication and
Access never got mixed up between the Master and the Replicas.

Check all Replica copies and see which one is the Master. If you sure that
you don't have the Master in the set, you can re-create the Master from a
Replica.
