Need help with changing settings

Hello! Hope someone can help me...the problem is that I
installed Word Perfect 10 on my computer...then I decided
that I didn't like it and deleted it. However, it changed
some of my settings and now when I try to download certain
things such as .zip files. It tells me that it cannot
locate the Wpwin10.exe. That is because it isn't there!
So how do I change things so that it won't look for the
Word Perfect file. I'm not very computer literate so
please explain in plain English if you have an answer. I
am running Windows 2000.
