Need help with - "incorrect user name/password combination. (5002)

Please help,

I have an installation of Project Server 2003 on a domain server that is
also running SharePoint Server 2003. I have checked, rechecked and checked
the accounts that both Project Server and SharePoint uses and I cannot figure
out why I keep getting "You have entered an incorrect user name/password
combination. (5002)" when I try to log in.

Does anyone have any ideas. I am about at my wits ends with this issue.

I too have the save problem.
I have a Project Server 2003 that is a member server of a NT4.0 Domain.

I am able to log to the sever it self; local login as the other domain
users, domain admins with different names; but when I log in over the network
from IE Browser I get the 5002 error. Therefore I beleive it might be rights
issue, but I do not know which app it is associated with. I too have added
the domain accounts with in the Project Server admin screen but no luck....

Well add my voice to this. Running Project Server 2003 on Server 2003 with
Win 2k domain servers. The accounts that are in the administrator group can't
log in, nor any of the domain users that are added to the administrator
groups. When using Project Server authentication I get the Error 5002 message.

Followed the instructions to the "T", virgin install trying to get to work.
Frustration is building up. Some common error like the one about pjdbcomm.dll
being blocked now this one with not having a log on account.

Help.
