Need help with isntalling Office 2007...

Hey guys!

Sorry if, it has been answered, but didn't find anything helpful s
far. I have a new XP SP2 installation, and I can't install Offic
2007. When I run the OPPLUS-EN.EXE, I insert the serial, click "Instal
Now" and after 2 seconds I get "Setup cannot find Pro.WW\ProWW.xml".
tried extracting with "/extract", but I get the same message as before
only pointing to the folder I extracted, not the temp folder.

Any idea what I should do now

Hi Len,
Were you successful in extracting the CD image to an Office Network Installation Point from the Office 2007 Professional .EXE
download? If so, are you double clicking on setup.exe in the root folder of that extraction section to start setup or ?

How long is the path and file name used in Start=>Run for the complete extraction and or setup.exe run?

Are you including any .MSP customization files or Office 2007 Beta 2 TR patch .MSP updates in the \Updates folder of the image?

Do you have any other 2007 branded MS products or MS Expression beta products installed?

chose a different HD. Don't know why, I had 8GB free in C:, but it was
giving me the error I described in the op. I chose to install in E:,
where I had 20GB free, and it worked. E: is also a SATA drive, but I
don't think that matters really.
