Folks,
I'm trying to integrate my company's time management system with MS Project
2003 server.
My goal is to eliminate the manual process of the PM's rolling up time and
placing it against the appropriate Project tasks.
The time management forms are EXACTLY the way the company wants them (using
webforms, winforms, and CE forms), so using Project's timesheet is not an
option.
Using PDS, I can extract resources and assignments information, but trying
to create new assignments (using AssignmentsSave) I keep getting error 122.
The pds reference help file define this as rsAssignmentWrongTrackingMethod,
"Actuals are reported in a method other than the locked-down reporting
method" but I can't find anywhere how to resolve this.
Has anyone had any success in interfacing an external time management system
(other than just buying a 3rd party) and can tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
