Need help with search function in FrontPage!

hi!

i'm trying to make a mail archive searchable. i'm using microsoft
front page editor version 3.0.2.926 on windows 2000. i insert a search
function using insert-->active elements-->search form. when in the
dialog box, i use the default settings in the search form properties
tag, and check this frontpage web in the search results tag. when i
test the search function in the microsoft explorer (version 6.0) i am
redirected to ~/_vti_script/Default.htm0.idq and get message "Service
is not running.". how do i get the search function to work?

Hi,

Contact your ISP / WPP about the error message. They will have to start
Index Server service and build a catalog file.

You need to run he site on a web server, with server extensions installed..

Did you use the "publish" feature to publish your site? or FTP (which corrupts
the extensions and they need to be reinstalled),
