Need Help with Subform not showing please

Hello. I am sort of new to designing forms with access. This seems simple
to do and I followed the Microsoft online tutorial to the letter but when I
open the form that has a subform I get this error: This expression is typed
incorrectly, or is to complex to be evaluated, try simplifying. I then hit
ok and it opens the main form, but the subform is blank, although when i go
into design view it is all there just like I made the table. I used the
wizared to do this table with one subform. Help??

It sound like the query you are using as the subform's recordset has a problem.

Thanks, got it figured out. needed to make my subform's child key the same as
the primary key on the main form.
