Hello--
We have a client on our network that when he tries to switch separate tabs
in an Excel spreadsheet, there is a huge lag time. What is really strange, is
that Excel does not appear to be locked up. He can select/edit cells in the
spreadsheet or close Excel altogether, even when the tabs switching is not
responding.
I did a repair on MS Office, made sure he had the up to date patches. His
computer resources are not showing any peaking, and there are no errors
reported in event logs.
It happens regardless of whether the spreadsheet is a network share or local
on his workstation.
He is running MS Office 2003 on Windows XP Pro with SP3.
Any ideas on what this might be are welcome.
Thanks,
sd
