need help writing formula PLEASE

I need to sort through a column of
13981 items, filtering everything out
that has GB GP or GR in it. Can any one tell
me how to set up a formula to do this task?

What do you mean by "Sort through" and "filter"? Why do you think you need a
formula? Did you try to SORT the data on that column? You could then scroll
to the data that contains the values you want? Did you try an advanced
filter? If so, what does it not do that you want to do?
