Need help: Wrong Access Projectformat

Hi,
it happened that we erased an userprofil so we lost a lot of directories and
files
but succeeded with a filerecovery-system to get back all adp-files.
But when opening them in ACCESS now we get the error:

"Die Datei ist nicht im richtigen Microsoft Access-Projektformat"

What can we do? About 3 months programming would be lost!
Thanks ahead for any advice.
