Need Help

Hi,
I'm new to Infopath and I need help creating "IF" statements using the
script editor. The issue is, I'm currently making a form to calculate my
GPA, Credits Attempting, Credits Recieved, and grade points received for my
classes. So far, I have figured how how to use the formulas to sum the
credits, to get the GPA, and to sum the total grade points. But the issue
is, I'm having problems building a script to make a grade equal a number of
points. For example, A+ would equal a 4.00 then a B+ would be a 3.00, so on
and so forth. Then I want it to say, "IF Grade is A+, then Let Credit Earned
equal the number of credits attempting. Then I want the grade point to equal
the grade recieved times the number of credits. For example if my grade for
sociology is an A+, then I want that to be multiplied point possible and
total number of credit that I earned for that class. if anyone could help me
on this, I would love it, because I have been working on this for the last
two months, and am stumped.

Thanks,

Can you use a dropdown to store the value as 4.0, etc, but display the
values as A+...? Then you'll be able to use calculations (in Service Pack 1)
to easily do the averages.

what about for "Credit Earned," because I want the program to automatacally
insert in the value if I certain grade is selected. How do I do that?

Let me know.
Thanks again,
