Need info on Scalability of OneNote in Enterprise Environment

Help!

Our dept is wanting to use OneNote, however our IT folks have concerns about
the scalability of OneNote with hundreds of users. Does anyone know where I
can get info to present to our mgmt and IT people to address performance
concerns and scalability issues and handling large amounts of data?
Does anyone know of any large companies using onenote on a mass scale?

Thanks

Are they worried about number of users or size of the data files?

What version of OneNote are you using?

We have some fairly large OneNote notebooks, though only shared among
maybe a dozen users, and performance is quite good.

Would they be locating the shared notebooks on a standard Windows file
share or ?

Hi Ben,

Yes, concern was expressed about how many users could use the notebook at
once as well as being able to handle large numbers of files and large files.
Shared files could be located on our sharepoint servers.
