Need input on how to layout the following query...

M

mcrpds

I want to layout the data on a datasheet but I need some
help: here is what I get w/ my query(datasheet view):
Program Type Uses Datasets
ABC001 Driver Tenent Master
ABC001 Subpgm Occupant Detail
ABC001 Subpgm Personnel Master

The problem is my query repeats the program for however
many datasets it finds. I do not know how to change the
query or datasheet.
here is what I would like:
Program Type Uses Datasets
ABC001 Driver Tenent Master
Subpgm Occupant Detail
Subpgm Personnel Master
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for
your time!

This is exactly how query datasheets are designed to work, and one of
the reasons why datasheets should not be used for data presentation or
printing - they're just too limited.

Create a Report based on the query, and set the "Hide Duplicates"
property of the textbox in which you display the Program field.
