Need licence key?

HEllo,

I installed Office 2000 on my computer, but had to
downgrade to Office 97 because that is what my work is
using. Now Access will not open. It tells me it need a
license key. Is there a setting that I need to configure
so that I can use access 97? I tried uninstalling and
reinstalling numerous times and it does not work. Help!

Are you sure it's asking for a licence key, or is it simply saying
"Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license for it on this
machine."?

If the latter, it's a common problem usually caused by, of all things, a
font.
