need more math operators in Word symbols tool

We are now missing some math operators in XP that were available in the
symbols menu of earlier versions of Word. The three dots in a triangle for
"Therefore" and the other division symbol (the horizontal line with a dot
above & below) are two examples.

They're still there. The division symbol (which has a mysterious way of
being invisible) is glyph 00F7 (or 247 if you have the display set to
ASCII). The "therefore" symbol (equally elusive) is character 92 in the
Symbol font. I don't know why these characters are so hard to see even when
you're staring right at them, but I have found that it is true.

Note that in Word 2003 (and I think Word 2002 as well), you can drag the
Symbol dialog larger if you like, or even maximize it by double-clicking the
title bar. This may actually make it harder to find things (since it
displays more characters at once), but it saves a lot of scrolling.

I've never used it but I understand there is a utility called the Private
Character Editor which you can get at by Start\Run\eudcedit.exe If there are
any symbols that are now genuinely missing I suppose a do it yourself kit
goes some way to getting round the problem
