Need more precise Activation Instructions

J

Joel Levine

I asked:
I've upgraded my computer and need to reactivate Office
2002. Many of the MS sites explain what activation is,
but don't explain how to activate after the initial
installation. I'd like to to it by email.
Thank you. Joel

I received 2 answers telling me:
"Telephone activation method, as described in
accompanying bumph, to yr
specific location."

and: "Use the telephone option on the activation window"

Please understand: I have XP and Office 2002 full
installed. Everything works fine. I upgraded recently. I
have no idea what "bumph" means. I can't find any
activation window in office. I am activated for XP.
Please tell me what "bumph" means and direct me (baby
steps please) to where I can reactivate Office 2002.
Thank you, Joel

Under the help menu in any office application click activate product. In
that window choose the option to activate by telephone.

In this article you will find the phone numbers for product activation and
if you can't get the appropriate screen up I'm sure they will assist you.
