need multiple circles on page for button making template

looking for templates, maybe share ware for a small button making project.
do not know exactly what size yet.
Maybe 1 1/4 in or 1 1/2 inch circles 10-20 per page where I can type id

Your question is quite vague. Which program do you want to use to create
these buttons? Are you just using text or will you be using graphics?

i am a graphics novice. I was hoping to download some sort of shareware to
access some simple graphics and the circles. maybe I am asking too much.

I just have microsoft on my computer

I still don't understand the shareware part. Does that mean you don't have
something like Publisher or MS's Digital Imagining?
