I have two actively accessible hard drives at the moment. That configuration
is only temporary. But, when I installed Office 2003, it installed the
MSOCACHE folder to the second hard drive that won't exist in a few weeks.
Why can't I tell the installer where to install that folder to? Because, if
I have a drive rearrangement, things will get all nutty.
Also, after I deleted the folder, Office 2003 kept asking me to pop in the
CD's instead of recreating the MSOCACHE folder, or asking me where to
recreate it. The MSOCACHE folder is a very good idea. But, if I can't choose
where it should go, it may prove to be a waste of time for someone who has
more than one hard drive.
