Need Overall Solution for formatted web submission-->Access-->Word

We publish question and answer material. This is a multipart problem. We want
to

1) set up a web site that allows contributers to enter the different parts
of a question along with formating (esp italics and super/subscripts) and
other fonts (esp greek characters- using symbol fonts or TimesNR extended
font set). The form for web sumission must have drop-down lists, check boxes,
option and radio buttons etc. The fields would include stem, question,
correct answer, incorrect (distracter) answers 1,2,3,4, and the explanation.

2) Once submitted, the data for the questions must go to an Access database
in a means that keeps formatting intact.

3) Material in the database will then be edited. We must be able to fully
edit them while in the database. Once final edits are done, we use this
database as the source data for our CDROM (made with Macromedia Director)

4) The material in the Access database is then output to Word using specific
styles for each field of the record. This output would basically be a
nearly-finished question & answer book with about 500 questions.

Previously I have put raw rtf in the access files but this is really
problematic in getting a single word file output because each of the fields
in the database are seen as distinct rtf files. Required complicated word
macros to clean up ascii file.

One main problem is applying and keeping the formatting from web to access
to word--or develop another solution. As you can see, I still don't have it
figured out from access to word.

Infopath and sharepoint seem to have some aspects of what we need but they
appear to be intranet based. Is this correct? Any ideas? Thanks for anything
you can offer!
