need Power Point compatibility advice

Hi;

I received Office 2000 Small Business Ed. with my Dell
computer 2 years ago. I'm running Windows 98 2nd ed. Now
I'd like to add Power Point to my system. Can I obtain a
version of Power Point compatible with my system? Where
can I get it?

Do you want the full version of PowerPoint or just a viewer? Microsoft has a viewer to download on the downloads area of the site (or try this: http://65.54.170.250/cgi-bin/linkrd...action=http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=297519). There shouldn't be any problems with compatibility, but as far as I know, you can't buy just PowerPoint.

You can just "buy powerpoint" on it's own....but....there is always a
but!......you cannot buy powerpoint version 2000 at this time. Only
powerpoint 2003 version

Microsoft has release office xp which contains powerpoint 2002/XP. Since
then microsoft has released office 2003 with also contains powerpoint 2003.

So if you really want powerpoint version 2000 your best bet is something
like ebay.
