Need quick tutorial on the "Links Between Projects in <>___"

External Predecesors/External Successors, ID, Task, Type, Date, %Comp,
Differences.

Just need a few sentences that briefly explain how to manage it in
order to clearly explain to end-users/PMs

We are reporting progress via My Tasks and using Business Rules to
auto accept updates. Does the PM have to go into their respective
plans and accept all the links each week (I'm assuming that's what
they do) before the plan will reflect reality? Is there some business
rule that auto accepts the external links?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!

There is an option the PM can set to automatically accept external links or
not. It's in tools options - the view tab.
