Need Text "Change Tracking" Solution

I want to use Access to track text changes to contract requirements. For
Systems Engineering folks, think of using Access instead of DOORS or RTM.
What I would like to do, is automate the loading of 1300 contract paragraphs
into a table. Then be able to see the text changes similar to how you see
them in MS Word using "change tracking".
I can do this manually by creating an "OLE Object" column in a table
and using "Insert Object" to insert an MS Word object on each row. Then I
cut the text from the document and paste it into the that column of the
table. I hear this "MS Word object" approach isn't a good Access solution.
I need a better solution or a VBA way to automate the manual process.
Any proposed alternative needs to be able to view, on a form, the
contract text by paragraph and highlight the text inserts, changes, and
deletes made to the paragraph. The set up should be completely automated.
