Need to add a screensaver...can't find the option under properties

Does anyone know how I can add my animated gif file for a screensaver? I
don't have the option "my slideshow pictures" when I go to
properties/screensaver. Can I add it to the folder where the 3D text,
starfield simulation, etc. is?

Sorry, but for one it has nothing to do with MS Office applications and
, two, Windows won't use animated gif's as screen saver.
