Need to be able to identify the language spoken by my client

I need to be able to have a field in each business contact record to show the
language used by a client. Example: Spanish, French, English. I have tried
modifying & adding fields but after doing so, there still is no language
field anywhere in the record that I can find. Thanks in advance for your help!

I have this figured out. I added a category called "French" and one called
"Spanish" and when I update a contact, all I have to do is check the
correpsonding language in the category field. When I run a report, I can
list all my "french" contacts in one place.
