Need to be able to "lock" on text highlighter mode!

REALLY need to be able to "lock" on highlighter mode (as can do in
Word)! When going thru a bunch of text & highlighting, it's crazy to
have to move the pointer back to the button, then back to the text
every time!

Any way to do?

Hmm...I don't see that behavior but maybe it's because I'm on a Tablet. Are
you selecting a highlighter pen from the pens toolbar or ? Are you typing
betwen your highlights? I select the highlighter pen then I can
write/highlight all I want until I select something else (or type).
