Chris:
You might want to talk to MS' Sales folks (i.e. call them,) with many of
their products like the Office Developer, if you purchase the latest
version, you have the ability to "request" a downgrade and obtain it; of
course its dependent on whether they have any stock left of that item.
On the side of recommendations, remember that Access Xp can create and run
Access 2000 formatted dbs. Access Xp is superior from the stand point of
stability vs Access 2000 and if you are only developing to suit a client,
then you can of course create the 2000 db and install it using the Xp run
time of the Xp Developer suite. Just my 2 cents.
