Need to change orientation of page

Had a calander that has to be printed and set up in printers spread, but file
came in set up as landscape. Have to change to portrait in order to set up on
11x17. Everything that has been tried ends up reflows text and images and is
sized wrong. Any tips?

Sounds like a job for imposition software.

It tends to be very expensive, because the market is small, mainly
larger print shops and service bureaux. We have Farrukh Imposition
Publisher where I work; I don't know what it cost to begin with -- 'low
five figures' in Canadian dollars, I guess -- but the maintenance
contract alone is about $2000 a year.

See <http://www.farrukh.co.uk/>, if you haven't fallen out of your chair
;).

Here's one that's probably much more reasonable, especially if you
already have Adobe Acrobat; it works with PDFs. I haven't tried it
myself but the company's products seem to be well regarded among
prepress operators:

We do use it and find it ideal for doing the sort of job that the OP
describes. It's part of our "print any job from any file" toolkit, which
also includes Acrobat 6, Pitstop and Quite a Box of Tricks.

Have an old copy of Preps but all the computers here have been upgraded to XP
so the old software will not work. As for price that can not knock me of the
chair. Thanks.

Don't understand "the text re-flows", select all the objects, group, rotate. I've
done this operation hundreds of times and the text never re-flows.

Have 2 more newsletters to do and still trying to set up for film. Do a
select all and rotate, need to change from 8.5 x 11 to 11 x 17 for printers
spread. Fonts change and text reflows out of paragraphs. Using Publisher 2002.
